Green Is the New Blue

We are calling it... Most people started their watch collection with a black dial or a white dial. Refined and classic, you had it covered. Then you branched out from the normal. Blue dial watches were the “it” color for the most desirable sports models in the world. From the Platinum Daytona, to the 5711 Nautilus, and Audemars Piguet 15202 Jumbo, blue started to represent the dial colors of the best of the best in the watch industry. Now with blue being so common, it has become a little less special, and a new color has taken over the reigns…green is the new blue.

Italian watchmaker Panerai made timepieces for elite military commandos in their army. Verde Militare is their green that everyone recognizes.
